ARTIST NOTES: Purple Fields of Joy encapsulates the enduring optimism of Australian farmers, drawing inspiration from the Canola and Salvation Jane fields in the Barossa Valley, SA and reflects
the challenges and resilience of Australian agriculture. In my arts practice, I fuse abstraction with nature-inspired themes, using bold brushstrokes and vivid colours to convey the raw energy of the landscape. Infused with vibrancy and dynamic textures, this painting captures
the ever-changing beauty of the environment and I invite viewers to immerse themselves in the uplifting essence of the land and embrace its joy and energy.
